Black Dress

This is a dress I made last year to go to a black and white ball. The fabric is broadcloth. I wanted silk, but I was a bit short on funds so I chose cotton instead.

I generally like how it came out and I can't get enough of the cut of the dress. I love half gowns (thank you CLAMP for introducing me to them) and will more then likely make more. The trim on the gown is a simple white sheer ribbon with little flowers. I tried to take photos, but the flowers wouldn't come out.
