Super Sailor Moon Cosplay! Manga Edition

This is costume was commissioned by Sara and I must say I am very proud at how it came out. This costume took me about a week to make, not too bad. This is my first offical commission. And to anyone wandering, heres how I did it:

Sailor Collar: This was the hardest part of the costume surpisingly. At first I couldn't figure out how the dye the darn thing. I finally settled on permanet marker. It took me forever and a day to get the desired results.

Skirt: For this I ran into the same problem as the collar, but found a more simple solution that didn't take all night. I used ribbon to get the colours and generally liked how it came out.

Bodice: I used dull strech satin for the bodice to give it that suit appereance, very form fitting. And it's a nice contrast from all the other shiny things on it ^w^ The gold piece is just plain gold satin stuff with plush down to make it pop out.

Bows: The front bow is red satin pieces put to together to make a whole. I find it looks much better then just simply tying a bow. The back was made with white cheffron and made in the same fashion as the front bow.

Accessories: All the accessories, except for the odangos, were made from craft foam clay. Th odangos were made from air dry clay. They were all painted in their repective colours and sealed with a clear nail polish and super glue mix. This gives them a nice glossy look and the super gule help them they hard and protected.
